How I got started:

How I got started - I've always been a sucker for beautiful
things, lights, mirrors, fairies, boxes and especially windows and doors. About 2 1/2
years ago, my husband's cousin did a stained glass course, unfortunately I was unable to
afford the course at the time. After doing the course she suggested to me that I pay her
to teach me how to do stained glass and she would in turn allow me to use any tools that I
was unable to purchase initially. I was desperate to get started so I readily agreed. My
first tools excluded things like a soldering iron controller, a grinder, a proper solder
stand and a few other little "useful's" that I have since collected. My course
started in Jan 1999 and I have been doing any course I can afford and surfing endlessly
for any snippet or tit bit or tip I could find on the net.
